Paint:
a fresh coat of paint in your interior can go a long way. When deciding on colors, try not to go too trendy. A classic white is always a safe bet and allows the Buyers to see your home as a blank canvas for their creative touch.
Deep Clean:
it is surprising how much of a difference a professional deep
clean can make. We are talking a very thorough cleaning of everything, including cabinets, baseboards, floors, windows, and window coverings. This improvement will level up the appearance and the scent of your home. Do not forget the exterior needs a good cleaning, as well. Lightly pressure wash your siding and walkways to revive your curb appeal.
Update Hardware + Faucets:
changing out your 10+ year old cabinet hardware and sink
faucets to something a bit more modern can give a kitchen and bathroom a nice inexpensive facelift. Paired with the deep clean and fresh coat of paint we mentioned, you’ll be so happy with the results.
Landscaping:
stopping by your local garden center or grocery store, look for plants that won’t break the bank but will give the front of your home some pops new life. Rosemary and lavender are deer resistant and grow full to fill up
more space you have available. Fill the spaces in between with bark or rock to keep your greenery (and watering) costs down. If you have plants that you just adore and want to bring with you to your next home, dig them up but leave them in attractive pots for visual enjoyment. Potted plants are considered personal property, and you will be able to take them with you when you close escrow.
